I'm looking to buy at the moment and the last week was quite interesting. Two weeks ago open homes were packed and a place we were interested in went for well above what we were prepared to pay at auction.
A week later and places are being withdrawn from auction or pushed back by 2 weeks to late November. I think agents are hoping sentiment will recover once the rba decision washes through but definitely shows a distinct change in buyer sentiment off the back of rate rise speculation in the media.
