Sorry that I have not got any advice for what you may do next. Basically, with a house paid off, imo you are now ready to work on setting up your future nest egg.
I'm retired and well off, predominantly due to much hard work, but the gold mine was property. I purchased an acreage property that we sold for development. So, it was a strategic buy at the time of purchasing, I grew up in the area, so I knew it inside out and are still here on a bigger acreage now, around 2-3 ks from the burbs and main shopping center. The Freeway over pass is on your way to the shops - location, location, location.
I expect and hope our 2 kids will eventually have a big win on this property.
