Registration as far as I can tell simply allows you to populate your own watch lists etc...
It doesn't upgrade you to live trade data.
You are correct - trade data is delayed by 20mins.

I've found it useful when I'm not logged in to the trading platform as a way to keep tabs on what's happening.
Iguana2 has an AMAZING trading platform... even allows you to replay previous days trading and many other features.

But at $200 a month you need to be putting through some serious trades to make the investment worthwhile.
Considering how crap E-Tard has been lately it would almost be worth it.
Now have 2 accounts open as no longer trust E-Tard to be up when I need it.
Very disappointed with their service since the recent upgrade to dual exchange services Chi-X + ASX
