I wasn't commenting on the accuracy of his Tesla predictions, just highlighting the rush for Cobalt and euphoria spreading about Cobalt shortages.

Whilst I believe tesla is currently fully valued to say the least, I believe they have a brighter future then a considerable number of existing "majors" in this space.

I do agree however that a lack of supply of critical minerals for EVs is something all battery producers need to sort out and will lead to a race in some respects over the coming years ahead as we head into the 2020s and internal combustion engines become an alternative as opposed to the norm.
