And the best way to do this is to buy all the solar panels, wind generators, aluminium 500,000 volt power lines AND the 80m towers spreading 20,000km+ over our farmland and national parks from China? Because we’ve made all our own industries uneconomic because their power is too expensive?
China, of course, can produce all the ‘clean power’ stuff to do this much cheaper than we can - because they use our cheap exported coal, the revenue from which props up our socialist economy that increasingly employs most of our workforce! And China continues to build new coal power stations by the hundreds each year that nobody here objects to…
This mad economic path will not end well, imho!
