If two believers pray for opposing outcomes, what is the result?

You say --> the answer is quite simple --> To one He will grant the request and to the other He will deny the request.

John 14:13 - And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

It appears to me, you have left him with a partial result?
Which ones request was granted, is not answered and why it was, is not answered either and visa versa.
And what if, although they prayed for opposing outcomes, both outcomes if granted, would equally glorify the Father and yet only one was granted?
