So, they are producing concentrate and shipping it to China - presumably for want of an offtake agreement. They hired an expert to negotiate an offtake so, again presumably, shipping concentrate to China has not become the new plan for AVB?
While Kalenn's spreadsheet assumes $2.70 per lb in 2018, AVB assumed $3.50 in its calculations to derive Ebitda for all production post-2018. Not that it matters especially, but I am curious what difference to the overall cost structure shipping to China makes to the calculations and have the terms been revealed , eg fob, cif, because 'spot' doesn't really nail it down what profit is generated, and it matters for as long as an offtake deal is not concluded.
