Not one to pour cold water, but I think I read that the stimulus package was aimed at selling completed housing projects that have been unsold and gathering dust for ages … if so, it’s probably premature to think developers will go gangbusters building new housing projects for some time yet … but I guess if Chinese consumers start feeling hope with a dwindling property surplus and implications then that augers well for their wider economy.
