lucky you to have had a mum you value. Must have been an anchor for you. I have a friend here who was badly bashed by her husband - regularly. She had been a singer and backed for some incredibly well known people but lost the ability and ultimately the desire to sing. Such a shame. She lost a child after one bashing. She’s a lovely woman and her kids are always there for her. She’s lucky too.
