Interesting to note that gold reacted positively to the CPI and Philly Fed index which is clearly correlated to more inflationary pressure building. Far from confirmation to the underlying economic recovery in US but perhaps a building block to improve from.
The resilience from more sell off in positive US news is surely a good start than the simplistic view of buy USD and sell gold scenario?
