The Russians are buying gold.
The Chinese are buying gold.
The Indians are buying gold.
The western hedge funds and ETF funds have been selling their gold holdings ... they don't have that much gold left to sell ... about 80% of their holdings have been sold via Switzerland onto the east ... so I don't see much downside, and a lot of upside potential to the US$ gold price.
