    Given where we are in the economic cycle, I wonder if it is time to move to some more conservative investments.

    I'm not really convinced people can predict the timing of economic cycles. If you go back through Hot Copper, you'll find people predicting the end of the bull market from about 2012, and every year since. If you switched out of shares then, which I assume many did, imagine the opportunity cost.

    I'd pick your asset allocation based on your age, and your tolerance of risk. Then just stick with it.
