watso previously raised the matter - in a thread about what people use for depression.
lol - looking back, watso was raised in a very religious household and father was never at the pub (except once in the blue moon) - but he liked to have a few (probably only two glasses)- because a flagon lasted a long time) glasses of wine at the end of the night - after everyone was in bed - a glass of wine, and listen to a record... and watso was horrified, that maybe his father was really an alcoholic.... lol - watso, also being a churchy type (only when young) expressed his concerns
poor father - all social life was around the church, and friends were mostly churchy types - good teetotalling methos (Methodists) - so who could blame him for the odd drink at night time.... one thing for sure, is that the COMMANDER IN CHIEF of the household. always had watso's father under control and there would be no way, that he would ever risk more than two glasses of wine
alcohol - it sure is a demon drink. the world would function a lot better without it - but even JC turned water into wine - so we have to accept that alcohol will always be with us.
one thing for sure, is that watso's mother's husband, was never an alcoholic
