It has always amazed me how the Peter principle seems to be broken so consistently and so well in large corporations.

The Peter Principle is an observation that the tendency in most organizational hierarchies, such as that of a corporation, is for every employee to rise in the hierarchy through promotion until they reach the levels of their respective incompetence...(Pauls principle now) and then they stay until booted out?  Generally by shareholders of fopahs of such grievous magnitude as to warrant more than 24 hours observance and comment on the  internet.

BHP is now making smoke about leaving the Mineral Council of Ausralia, a prestigous  organistation which they have been at the altar with for so many years I can't remember.  And its about coal now.  And its about climate change.

Well it does seem that the BHP scientific minds have decided the planet does not wobble, and does not precess or tilt when it rotates around the sun, and if it does it is a secondary (or more) effect compared with co2 emissions.

So not worrying about poorly designed tailings dam, or their oil and gas department or the energy footprint of their pilbara operations, they have decided to draw a line in the sand.

Donald Trump is ceasing to be as amusing as BHP, and netflix , well roll over....

    LOL
