    I can very much accept such a point of view but I think it works a bit like stones in a stream, over vast periods of time they have a semblance of their original form but they still get rounded into lucky stones. the grind of the universe still produces the proposed outcome.

    Extending this further, if sentience was always going to occur throughout the universe, it might not matter in what kind of body it occurs. So accidents or unfixed concepts may still arrive at designated destinations, though not in precise forms. the design variations may then add to the testing of the spiritual value of that creature?

    If as the Baha'is and Hindus suggest, this universe breaths out and then in, or is reborn from vast age to vast age, then every possible permutation of life may get to test the restrictions of existence.
