Haha, yes at times I write forgetting others don't have all my thoughts or things that are whirling around my mind.
You gave a brief on how, perhaps many should view Christ (a summary) which would reduce all these differing views. You were quite close with you summary. However, this would involve many taking the first and ordinary meaning of simple words. Currently, many don't because they need to tweak the meaning to align with their view.
So I was cheering for the fact that, this would get us back to the true definition of Word, if all adopted your summary of Christ.
Word "only" in John, doesn't mean word = Amazing??? Ha
Creature not a creature when it comes to Christ and first of God's creation = no, can not mean creation?
So no wonder we have all this confusion.
