You may have seen the wildly inflated number of $8m in the media thismorning.
As you know, we are under a confidentiality deed and cannot share thenumber or any other terms but what I can tell you is the settlement number forRugby Australia is less than the cost of seeing out a trial in February. Wehave made the most prudent financial decision we could to guarantee there wouldbe no impact on investment into the game.
I would also like to clarify that the apology was an apology from onehuman being to another and not an apology for the termination of Israel’scontract.
The matter is now closed and after the media cycle over the next 72hours, we will be rid of the Folau discussions and we can all move on todiscussing positive rugby stories.
