I disagree that Akida based systems would have any benefit in defending against drone swarms. Existing radars would track the swarm and guide missiles into it. The AI capability of Akida would most likely be used on the offensive side - in a US counterpart of such a weapon - guiding multiple drones independently to avoid collision, detection, countermeasures and reach the target.
