From memory SPXO will show the 2.5c price differential when the SP is in a healthy state of say 10c.
I guess when the SP is particularly low, SPXO represents a significant % discount on SPX and so becomes more attractive.
I'm a believer and happy to buy significantly more SPXO for my money with a view to convert if and when it makes sense to do so.
Other folks might want the full 2.5c differential, or more before buying.
Each to their own I say.
