...yes, but that is on presumption that investors buy them when it was cheap, but more people buy darling stocks when they have gone much higher.
...Wal Mart on the other hand is the tortoise slow and steady, it does not matter when you get in as long as you have time.
...I think Gold is like Wal Mart, gold stocks are like Tesla. In the former, it does not matter when you actually get in, with time you won't lose, with the latter, you could make more but you could also lose more with no assurance that held over a longer time, you would do better than Gold itself. LT SBM stockholders know that too well.
