$SPY $SPX $ES_F Let's see if we get a continued dead cat bounce over the coming weeks like we saw in August.

...it will most likely to be a dead cat bounce, only to enter May on a weak note, to complete the correction phase.

...this thread has cautioned on gold stocks for awhile now. Have always said that if the stocks in question do not rise proportionately along with general equities or the commodity class it belongs to, then when correction or adversity arrives, they fall more along with them. And we saw this sharp pullback in gold and silver stocks as precious metals finally take a breather. Similarly, lithium stocks not rising with the market and getting pulled down by Tesla, also gets pulled down by the equities correction, no less.

...I see trading in gold stocks as becoming a zero sum game, you win sometimes, you lose sometimes and you could get caught in a big way sometimes. They are volatile and buy/sell decisions at wrong times can result in unprofitable trades. This is why I favour physical/digital Gold and their ETFs equivalent, they are less volatile but meant to be kept for the long term, and only a modest allocation.
