    How the mighty have fallen.

Remember when $ETSY was considered by some to be a promising ecommerce platform?

From over $300 to under $60 in about 2.5 years.

Probably does not help that a lot of the "hand made" goods are just mass produced Chinese garbage that's relabeled.

..and of course, our Etsy equivalent in ASX is Articore Group (formerly Redbubble), an online E-commerce platform we all thought in 2020 that would become a sort of Amazon for artisans. The stock rose from 50c to $7 in under 9 months in 2020-21- it didn't turn out to be worth all that hype and exuberance and is now under 50c.

..so while we would like to follow the 'let your winners run' mantra not to sell when it was $7, we can never be too sure because the business landscape can change quite quickly and suddenly all the assumptions underlying the stocks lofty valuation are out of the window.

..but when the stock started crashing in May 2021, holders could still have gotten out at $3+.
