And also (you may have covered this in your EV thread)
the clear prevailing trend is for people to purchase either PHEV's
- which have batteries several times smaller than pure EV's -
OR non plug-in HEV's - which have batteries waaaay smaller than EV's.
Which basically means that minerals associated with conventional ICE vehicles (Palladium etc) retain most of their market share,
detracting from the outlook for battery minerals like Lithium.
