lol lol a trip down memory lane .. lucky that the plebs have pay rises to cope with the cost of living ..

for what it is worth, but rossmoyne is a pleasant suburb in west australia
lol lol watso has never bought apacket of cigarettes in his life.. but as a 14 year old school kid, he would scavenge drink bottles at school, store them in his locker and then take them home .. the school tuck shop only gave a 2c refund - but there was a deli that paid 3c (maybe the catch was that you had to buy something .. ok watso forgets) - and they sold DRUM tobacco @69c... lol lol lol watso even had a wooden box on his back carrier and he labelled it "watso's bottlo co " lol lol watso's dad smoked drum rollies
and again down memory lane ..

pub meals used to be so cheap.. but then pubs started to close down and pubs started to move up market ..(ie everything more expensive)

when watso worked in the city .. the criterion hotel always had a great "special of the day" cooked meal for sub $2.... the place was always packed .. his majesties , in perth, always had a good feed at a good price .. then there was the broken hill in vic park .. the railway in fremantle .. and too many other great pubs to mention .. but then there was the grand in mt magnet - where geoff bailey was the publican ... wow that was great food, at a great price, with great service ..

mmm remember the days, when there was a upstairs coles cafeteria.. always full .. and kmart had a self serve dine in section .. and what about BOANS (bought out by myers)??? .. they had a huge staff cafeteria where employees could have a cheap lunch meal (watso did work at BOANS early on in his life )

not that watso is complaining, but these days, watso has to do his own cooking ... for no other reason, that good dine out meals at a good price, are a distant memory
