Woodside, Hardman and ROC report oil column at Tiof-6

Sydney - Tuesday - January 11: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Woodside Petroleum Ltd reports the "West Navigator" drilled the Tiof-6
appraisal well (in PSC-B, Block 4, offshore Mauritania) to the final
total depth of 2963 metres, where acquisition of wireline logs began.
Preliminary analysis of logs acquired while drilling and the
wireline logs acquired so far indicates the presence of an oil column.
At midnight on January 10, wireline logging was continuing.
It is planned that the well will be suspended and tested at a
later stage.
Operator Woodside has a 53.85 per cent interest in PSC-B while
Hardman Resources Ltd owns 21.6 per cent, BG group 11.63 per cent,
Premier group 9.23 per cent and ROC Oil company Ltd 3.69 per cent.
Shares in Woodside rose 13c to $20.54, Hardman 1c to $1.69 and
ROC Oil 1c to $1.78 today.
