Kinda personally agree with your thoughts. I try to only stick to dividend paying stocks now and stocks that with a market cap of 1 bil or more with a few exceptions. I have lost heaps over the years. Probably about 10K - but I was younger, and 10K was a lot to me. I sacrificed having a cool car thinking I was smart investing my money ... But into penny stocks . Oh boy have I learnt.
