Like it or not Australia was settled and developed as a British, Christian country
Our language, customs, politics, laws, business systems, social activities and our complete way of life has that foundation
Everything you possess ( if you are in Australia ) is due to that foundation, so your life would be far different if it was other than what it is
It does not mean that you have to embrace Christianity, but just because other do so, you have no right to say they are pushing it down your throat, I would go so far as to say you have an obvious vacancy in your life for thinking that way as in general it is only the Muslims who do not tolerate other forms of worship
So the answer is as always if life in Australia with it's mix of peoples and customs is so bad for you to feel threatened then pack your bags and go to a better place ASAP
