I dont buy your 'rational economics' argument with regard to high levels of asian investment in realestate being a good thing for sellers and all the leaches in the process - lawyers et al
In fact I counter with my own which is simply that if Australians were forced to fund their lifestyle through innovation and hard work as opposed to simply selling the farm to pay for today the country would be better off in the long run
Also with regards to foreigners having to service the property they buy here they (esp chinese sing and malays ) have lower costs of capital from their domestic funding sources- this gives them an unfair advantage
