Whoever has the advantage ,unfair or otherwise , whoever buys still has to stump up the money ,pay the taxes ,pay the real estate agents ,pay the rates ,whatever else.
Moreover no one is forcing anyone to sell . If you want to fund your lifestyle then you have every right to sell and you also have the choice of adjusting your lifestyle . Everyone knows many people are living beyond their means here . If it's going to take selling their property and realising down the track that they shouldn't have to adjust their lifestyle then maybe it'll be a lesson to others.
I never said Asian investment here was necessarily a good thing ,but it's the only thing we've got at the moment and at the end of the day you can't stop it . It'll happen whatever laws are enacted
