Didn't see this so can't comment specifically. Kelly either "has it" - or she doesn't. time will tell. But are we not all of us hypocrites, regardless?

For, hypothetically, if we had a modest home to sell - and say, expected it to fetch $550.00 - max - agents say the same - and along come some keen Asian buyers - offering us ( ridiculous) extra $200's or more - than what we half expected - dared hope for - wouldn't we, too - take the higher price? It's human nature. Life's reality

Realistically, we would. Take the higher price. And be delighted in doing so - amazed at our luck.

So this then becomes a joint venture - Asian buyer willing to pay much more - for whatever reasons - vendor delighted to accept the extra huge windfall. Morals and principles out the window Are vendors going to sit fown and ponder - over first home buyers being shut out? We're too selfish.

All boils down to opportunistic greed..Nothing to do with politicians - unless they bring in sone new rules. But WHAT rules?

Asians are buying homes - as some sort of future residential superannuation - a bolster against their uncertain futures.. Money no object..Perhaps they're waiting on Labor to turn entirely Communistic!
Let's not all be too sanctimonious. But what to do?
