I applaud Scott Morrison for knocking back the Kidman deal on selling 1% of our land mass to the Chinese. The Vic government is only surviving through selling off Victoria to the Chinese, the Chinese residents now own massive amounts of inner city real estate, talk to any builder of luxury real home and it's the Chinese they are building for in our leafy suburbs. They own the post offices, small businesses, everything.
Andrew Rob said we need Chinese investments, and the Chinese can't take the land with them : Wrong! This is not like the Japanese investment of 30 years ago, the Japs invested but they did not populate our Country with their residents, the Chinese are. Just take a look around, look at our TV ads, this will be a Chinese satellite outpost in years to come.
Time to toughen up and stop taking the easy way out - selling off the farm, we should have learned fro the mining boom that Labor squandered.
