The problem with selling the Kidman properties to any foreign country and that includes the UK and the US is the size of the combined properties makes it a strategic asset to Australia's food security into the future. IMO all large farming properties are a strategic asset and that is why China wants them, they are becoming Chinas guarantee of food security into the future.
IMO some of these companies are backed by the Chinese government.
Don't get me started about selling sea ports to foreign countries or foreign countries owning energy suppliers in our country, they are a strategic asset as well.
Australian governments selling our strategic assets to foreign interests imo should be stopped.
