how that logic leap is made ---------- I do not know
so a cleaning job pays - say 50 bucks an hour ----------- but, there's only 1 hour a week available and the job is a 100 km return car trip - to a luxury mountain hotel in the mountains
and you think that a person who doesn't have a job - could take that one - because? well, the hourly rate is fantastic

100 km of petrol and wear and tear --------- for 50 bucks
and we wonder why such places can't get labour?
is that a wild not 'normal' example? -------------- well, actually no - there are several places like that - Cradle Mountain was one such place --------- usually there was some work there - but, short shifts and a bloody long way to go - on roads that were at best - adventurous
