What went wrong?
Labor worked out that if the immigrants were welfare dependant, that they could take money from people who don't vote for them to further increase their own personal wealth with fat salaries, pensions schemes and graft and keep it that way with more stolen loot from white collar tax slaves with by generous welfare schemes so their voter base didn't have to work and could form the welfare aristocracy
