A bit harsh Lappy;
He made mention of empathy for FIFO workers, for the most part they wouldn't have the default option he has, namely going back to the bar, the FIFO workers are stuck in the grind, and suicide is taking its toll regrettably.
Yes he's an intelligent individual, who thought he could overcome the tyranny of distance, only when faced with it, he came up short.
I wouldn't want a darker event on my conscience Lappy, for mine, better for him and better for me with this decision.
