Foley has got it right here........white flight exactly describes what is and has been happening for a while in many suburbs in the west and south west of Sydney.........and this is where the hypocrisy of greater refugee/Muslim intake lies........these new arrivals end up in the poor, working class suburbs, they do not live in the wealthy suburbs where the likes of SHY and Lucy Turnbull reside. Thus for the latter increasing the refugee/Muslim intake is an entirely abstract notion.......they never have to actually bump shoulders or compete for resources with them in their local community.
