@Cowboyinvestor; do you enjoy being WRONG because yet again that's where you're at.

Melbourne is already Australia's largest city with 5,200,000 people. Due to the massive impetus our state government has given to building core public infrastructure and to removing productivity killers such as level crossings, well-placed to grow to eight million people soon by 2050.

Not enough - well Victoria has also raced ahead on phasing out Old King Coal and replacing brown coal energy sources with renewables - interlinking with South Australia, Tasmania and even to some extent with NSW. We're also virtually drought-proofed.

Victoria's tourism is NOT dependent on the health of the GBR, it's driven by environmentally sustainable management of our coasts, rivers and plains. It's supercharged by our sports and entertainment precinct hosting global activities including the F1 Grand Prix and Australian Tennis Open.

Then there's our emerging cutting edge Biomedical sector and our further education sector - both increasingly integrated.
