That's true, after tonight's reading a feel a little bit guilt about it all. My only saving grace would be netflicks should be thankful that only 1 payment will happen rather than a prossible 7 or more if we didn't responded so quickly.
I can see why merchants are moving away from credit card transactions and more towards direct credit transfers. I know if I was a seller I would be certainly doing that. Ok it would be a serious set back for your business to decline the use of credit card transactions, but you need to cover your own ass.
Banks will certainly not want it to change, they are making money from honest businesses in unfortunate circumstances.
One thing about it all though, it is just a typical scenario, where it is the honest hard working person that has to take it on the chin, even if it means financial ruin.
