    I was 19 years old when I left mine.. in 1969. I was drafted in a Paratroopers Regiment 6 eme RPIMA in France. for 18 months in those days, served in Tchad and Djibouti. Stepping out the door of an aircraft with 35 kgs of gear and sub-machine gun is an experience I will never forget.. (you grow up quickly..0) lol
