Mee too Kevin had done the same, pretending to be the economic conservative and tough border control guy, nothing could be further from the truth.
Interestingly Abbott was the opposite of Rudd ... promised no cuts to Labor's indulgent spending (even came up with his own incarnation of Turnbull's PPL) but then he flipped to a cuts and savings warrior which was thwarted by a hostile senate.
And what of Turnbull's and Shorten's message? Both are just as deceptive.
The mess deserves a mention too ... no carbon tax.
