An analysis published earlier this week looked at what factors were causing Australians to have less purchasing power. The two leading factors were higher interest rates and bracket creep increased personal tax payments.

Albanese is reported in the papers today saying inflation forced his hand.

The poor bloke, Liarbanese, is a bit confused.

The stage 3 tax cuts were designed as a long term fix to bracket creep.

Inflation is already getting back under control in Australia. But could be managed down quicker by putting some restrictions (maybe temporarily) on immigration and stop funding for many of the unwanted highly questionable infrastructure projects around Australia. And perhaps have an agenda to lift productivity across aAustralia.

At best what Liarbanese is proposing will be a sugar hit for Australians.

Gee the internal Labor polling must have been dire otherwise why cause all of this political upheaval for just a few more votes.

And I think the Teals will scream like pigs when they see the reaction of constituents in each of their respective electorates. Allegra Spender has already started.

Politics is alive in Australia, but not well.
