I agree that nuclear should be included in the mix.Nuclear power generation needs to establish itself as being safe.International protocols need to be developed to enable the safe expansion of nuclear power on a massive international scale. Confidence in the safety of all aspects of nuclear is the problem.If this can be overcome it is the obvious choice into the future until renewable can truly supply all power needs.
China is showing the way forward in safe nuclear power technology.
There is division within the "alternative minded community" and it may come down to the least of two evils.........nuclear or climate change.I suspect political parties like the greens are having robust policy debates on this issue.
The overall best mix for power generation should be left to the scientist and the economist .................and an ETS
