Hi Red, yep, ever since our Directors threw us into Administration all those years ago our interest basically comes last, even the ATO kicks the company as it's dying, like what's a liquidators transaction tax all about.. Sounds like death duties for companies.
Curious why the Directors are now wanting to reverse the liquidation, just to save on some fees and wind the company up themselves? If so I think I would prefer the liquidator to do it, at least then we will get a liquidators investigation into possible recovery items. Be interesting to hear what their justification is, if they bother to run those ads in the papers. Perhaps they are wanting to keep the company going for some reason, a well cashed up shell, who knows.
