    Hi mate,

We discussed how as lithium comes out of brine the solution changes requiring constant upgrades to the chemical plant. It is just the nature of the beast.

I think (interpreting our conversation) if the Brine players had worked with China and not played whatever games over time - China would have relied on them for supply.

However due to the Chinese not being able to rely on Brine supply and because they wanted control over supply they developed the hard rock processing industry.

In terms of quality did not discuss - however this topic has been discussed previously in terms of the mineral characteristics of PLS deposit which is a higher grade and closer to surface than other hard rock deposits.

From all information sources Greenbushes is mining at depth now, which does increase costs but traded off against a high grade quality.

Mg is a massive issue. Joe was very positive on GXY brine asset in terms of quality and potential.

Overall the reality is there is a place for brine and hard rock, and supply is still going to be short relative to demand.

    Cheers,
    Super Ninja
