Where's the Australian example? We have an unusually strong regulatory system and bodies when it comes to financial markets (hence why we largely avoided the effects of the Asian Financial Crisis and the GFC) and so the accusations made in that petition (without any actual evidence) are certainly quite alarming.

Regardless of your post the petition itself still definitely lacks facts and evidence and should be re written with a focus on facts rather than hypotheses about what may be happening in markets. Last thing we want is for the govt to waste taxpayer dollars going on a wild goose chase...
