I agree unprecedented high levels of immigration at the request of business councils and the big end of town is compounding the issue. But it is not simply a supply/demand issue, this has been building for decades.

The data shows clearly we have been on this path of shelter being treated as a wealth building mechanism for a long time. The point at which income and prices separated are clear and a direct result of (liberal) legislation. It was always going to be unsustainable.

Google its a good read, suprisingly theres plenty of
developments approved " the buffer" that are just keeped in limbo.
