    Uh no. I keep my rentals to a very high standard. Been talked about here a lot.

    As an example, I received a demand from a new tenant, "New window needed urgently window permanently stuck open, damaged and in disrepair"

    When I went there to have a look at this horrrible Terrible unrepairable not working deplorable window, it turned out the tenant didn't know how to bloody close a double hung window.
    So the tenant needed to be shown how to operate windows for Christ sake. The window although yes it is old, is an original federation double hung window that I had FULLY taken apart and refurbished as I do carpentry as a hobby and have renovated multiple properties.

    So like I said complete exaggeration, incorrectly described and not the obligation of the landlord to teach someone to operate a window.
