I track the short interest data for the major #lithium names. The data for end April is now out. The $ value of the short interest across the 11 larger cap names I track is currently $4.9bn and remains close to its ATH and ~60% of the revenue base of the entire #lithium industry. The #shortinterest as a % of free float INCREASED across most names during the last 2 weeks of April, the exception being $SGML where it fell from 17.0% to 16.3%. With #lithium prices edging higher and stock prices off their lows its noticeable that the shorts remain stubbornly entrenched. The alleged reemergence of

over the past week & the impact he had on $GME with a single tweet might have given them all pause for thought. For me, a high short interest in a stock I want to be long of always provides an additional 'margin of safety'. If the fundamentals come through as expected the shorts WILL cover.
