If, when someone attempts to get ahead of this 20% by "doing their own research", they keep arriving at a point where they believe in vast conspiracies involving millions of people in collusion, could it be possible that such a person perhaps is failing at filtering out the 20% because they are just replacing it with a different 20%?
Asking for a friend who believes such stories as the moon landing was faked, the earth is flat, vaccines are killing everyone, 911 was an inside job, and trump is just an innocent guy being repeatedly accused of crimes he didnt commit.
