I am aware of the mother leaving the courtroom in disgust etc, and I can understand how that statement would upset any parent in that situation.
However, I'd still be interested to hear clarification on what the police commander meant, because gun wielding citizens, regardless of religion, are often gunned down by police. That is why I'm curious to know exactly what the police officer was referring to. Doesn't make sense.
